About The Role

Rockhampton Private Hospital caters to a wide range of nutritious meals to patients. In our Catering team, you will work alongside a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values. You must have flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends (including public holidays) across morning/afternoon shifts.

This role will involve:
  • Delivering patient meals and mid meals
  • Keeping a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Washing up after meal delivery
  • Basic food preparation whilst offering high standards of quality and service to customers and patients.

Your Skills And Experiences

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • A 'can do' attitude with a friendly disposition
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment (desirable)
  • Excellent customer service
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and high standards of cleanliness

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 + casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
  • Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
