About the role

As a Learning and Capability Specialist, based on site in Sydney - 101 Miller Street, North Sydney, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technical training to enable our NSW Workers Compensation teams to be successful. You will be partnering and consulting with stakeholders, contributing to workers compensation employee's capability, and supporting business success.

  • Deliver a broad range of workers compensation technical training, from induction to upskilling and career development programs across our NSW Workers Compensation teams.
  • Deliver technical training through various delivery modes, including self-service learning.
  • Drive a continuous improvement approach to the learner capability and experience to ensure effective embedding of learning and capability through evaluation of success metrics.
  • Contribute to technical capability and career development of workers compensation teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage existing learning and improve efficiencies.
About you
  • Experience in TMF workers compensation insurance claims experience in a large matrixed, regulated and customer focused organisation.
  • Good relationship building and communication skills with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment managing risks, deliver on deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret complex information, extract insights, provide options, and influence decisions.
  • Some experience providing technical training or side-by-side coaching in a medium - large corporate organisation, in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience in designing and delivering learning and/or capability upskilling to small or large groups of employees.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
