Hourly rate: Casual Rate $38.19 per hour


Overview

Join to apply for the Residential Centre Assistant – Miruma Diversionary Program role with NSW Department of Communities and Justice. This casual position supports residents to reintegrate into the community.


Responsibilities
  • Meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities described in the Casual Residential Centre Assistant role description.
  • Support individual case plans and maintain residents' records.
  • Mentor, support and assist residents to develop the living skills required for independent living in the community.
  • Transport residents to and from external venues.
  • Resolve critical situations relating to the health and wellbeing of residents.

  • Experience in social welfare is desirable.
  • Experience working with women is highly desirable.

Qualifications Required
  • Current Driver's Licence and preparedness to drive a motor vehicle as part of the role.
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one within 3 months of commencing employment.
