Early Childhood Educator Job Description\

The role of an Early Childhood Educator is to provide a safe, engaging and stimulating environment that supports the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years. As an Educator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating programs that promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children.

  • Plan and implement educational programs that meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive centre environment.
  • Assist in the supervision of children during indoor and outdoor activities.
\Required Skills and Qualifications\
  • Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services.
  • Have an understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
