Steel Processing Operator - Laser or Press Brake

Join to apply for the Steel Processing Operator - Laser or Press Brake role at Digga Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to operate Fibre Lasers (6KW and 10KW) or Brake Press in our fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling production plans on the Day and Afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities include:
  • Operating Laser or Press Brake equipment
  • Interpreting drawings and understanding CNC operations, fabrication, programming, cutting, and folding
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are met
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Experience with Laser or Press Brake machinery
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Sheet metal knowledge and CNC understanding
  • Ability to read drawings and work with MRP systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with good interpersonal skills
  • Good hand/eye coordination and physical fitness
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Drivers license and own transport; forklift license essential
