National Civil & Foundations is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee our growing pipeline of piling and civil infrastructure projects across Melbourne.

This senior leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is hands-on, and brings a strong background in operational management within the civil construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple project sites
  • Manage resourcing, equipment, logistics, and scheduling to ensure efficiency
  • Lead, support, and develop site supervisors, crews, and project teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business
  • Work closely with management on business planning and performance
  • Drive productivity, problem-solving, and operational strategy

What NCF is looking for:

  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior supervisory role within civil construction or foundation works
  • Strong knowledge of basements, piling, ground engineering, and heavy plant operations
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects concurrently
  • Sound understanding of OH&S, compliance, and industry standards
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving mindset
