Salary: $70k - $80k Plus Super

Kitchen Manager = Head Chef

ZSG Head Cook's Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of store & kitchen.
  • Managing all expected key performance indicators, i.e., COGS, financial & rostering.
  • Supervising & coaching team members to deliver an exceptional ZSG experience.
  • Delivering ZSG food quality & safety standards.
  • Preparing, cooking food, and ordering supplies.
  • Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
  • Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Front of House staff.
  • Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.
  • Assisting with staff training.

ZSG Head Cook's Skills & Experience

  • Highly motivated natural leader who is hands-on.
  • A passion for food and restaurant operations.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Restaurant or Kitchen Management (Preferred).
