The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and organized Assistant Showroom Manager to lead, mentor, and motivate our team at the Brisbane Showroom.

As a brand ambassador, you will be personable, positive, dynamic, proactive, and able to engage with the team, stakeholders, and customers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities include leading the team to achieve sales targets, ensuring smooth showroom operations (a 7-day schedule), managing staff and stock, and providing ongoing product training.

This full-time role requires availability to work one day on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support daily showroom operations following King Living standards, policies, and Work, Health & Safety procedures.
2. Conduct daily team meetings in the absence of the Showroom Manager to discuss pricing, product updates, sales targets, and promotions.
3. Maintain the showroom and product presentation to the highest standards, ensuring excellent customer service.
4. Manage and motivate the team to meet business goals, facilitate product and sales training, and foster a collaborative culture.
5. Coordinate stock replenishment with the supply chain team.
6. Build customer relationships, address complaints in partnership with the Showroom Manager.
7. Ensure marketing materials are correctly set up, including window decals and point of sale.
8. Stay informed about competitor products and promotions.

About You:

• Confident with customers and experienced in managing and supporting a team.
• Driven to achieve targets with excellent training and product knowledge skills.
• Previous experience in a premium brand environment is preferred.
• Customer-obsessed with strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
• Ability to understand store budgets and manage showroom operations effectively.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience with textiles, furniture design, or interior design is advantageous.
• Flexible team player willing to assist when needed.
• Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and trend awareness.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional presentation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
