With manufacturing facilities in Victoria (Epping & Maryborough), Queensland (Nerang) and South Australia (Dublin) plus multiple sales and distribution offices Nationally, a new opportunity now exists for a proven & experienced National Account Manager to join our well established Sales team.

Please note that while the preferred candidate for this role will be based in Melbourne, we will also consider candidates who are unable to relocate or need to remain based interstate. The hybrid work model associated with this position allows for flexibility, though regular travel to Melbourne and other national locations will be required.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to our National Sales Manager, we are seeking a passionate Foodservice Sales/Accounts Professional. This role will focus on managing and strengthening relationships with our existing national accounts and identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the market. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our key customers to build, design and execute a strategic sales strategy. This position will play a significant senior role at Edlyn Foods.

Who we're looking for:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are seeking to hear from applicants who possess :

7+ years' experience with proven track record of achieving annual sales budget targets (sales to budget)

Significant account management experience, ideally with key customers. All industries will be considered but experience in the Foodservice, Beverage or FMCG industries will be highly advantageous.

Excellent business acumen with an understanding of profit management, business planning, forecasting, the ability to deliver on sales targets and implement clear sales strategies.

The ability to negotiate, communicate and influence at a Senior/Executive level including engaging other members of the company.

A passion for food and the ability to genuinely demonstrate that passion and knowledge through effective communication with your client base.

An ability to provide excellent customer service and be able to develop commercially beneficial relationships.

The ability to innovate and use opportunities presented by new technologies to succeed.

An ability to travel nationally and spend minimum 80% of your time in the field

For this role, Edlyn Foods fully supports a hybrid work model with the successful applicant being able to be based in any location, however regular travel to our head office in Epping, plus national travel on a regular basis to visit your key customers will be required.
