Client Manager - Public Accounting (OPEN TO MEL,SYD,BRISBANE based candidates)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Client Manager with a strong background in business advisory, tax compliance, and tax planning, combined with proven client relationship management skills.

This role is ideal for CA/CPA-qualified accounting professionals with 3–5+ years in public practice who are looking to step beyond day-to-day compliance and move into a more strategic, client-facing position. You'll bring your technical expertise to the table while playing a key role in supporting and advising a portfolio of accounting firm owners across Australia.

As a Client Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, guiding strategic conversations, and supporting the implementation of professional development and business improvement programs. This role blends client advisory, program coordination, and the use of digital tools to drive meaningful outcomes for firms.

Please note: This is a primarily remote position with occasional on-site meetings or event attendance. While we prefer candidates based in Melbourne, we are also open to those located in Sydney or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow strong, trusted relationships with a portfolio of accounting firm clients

Provide strategic guidance on business advisory, tax planning, and compliance-related issues

Coordinate and support the delivery of professional development and leadership programs

Oversee CPD tracking and compliance requirements

Leverage technology platforms (e.g., GHL, Kajabi, Zoom, Monday.com) for program and client management

Lead event planning and engagement reporting activities

Ideal Candidate:

CA or CPA qualified, with 3–5+ years' experience in public practice accounting

Solid background in tax compliance, tax advisory, and business advisory services

Demonstrated experience managing client portfolios and building strong relationships

Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and project management skills

Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM, LMS, and project tools

Passionate about professional development, consulting, and driving business growth
