Rare regional lifestyle opportunity with a prominent national accounting firm

We have been retained by a prominent national accounting firm to find and appoint an Accounting & Tax Partner or Associate Partner to lead one of the firm's regional offices. This is a rare opportunity to combine your professional career with an idyllic lifestyle, given the ability to live on the Sunshine Coast or Hinterland area.

Aside from lifestyle, this is an exceptional opportunity and different from most, due to the unique and flexible way that the firm operates and the fact that a sizeable existing client portfolio will be inherited by the successful candidate upon joining the firm.

In this leadership role, you will manage the firm's operations, develop new business opportunities, service clients, and mentor teams to deliver exceptional client service. You will work within a collaborative local and national team model, leveraging offshore and virtual resources to meet client needs effectively.

We are seeking a client-focused, dynamic accounting & tax leader, with a strong growth mindset. You will also be passionate about innovation, client relationship development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

To be considered for this position, you should have the following profile:

  • 8+ years' experience in delivering quality Accounting & Tax services.
  • This could be complemented by relevant experience in business, industry, or agriculture.
  • An ability to manage a strong and profitable accounting practice.
  • Business development aptitude, with the skills to source and convert new business.
  • Strong business leadership skills and the ability to develop and lead a team.
  • An ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driven and proactive, with an 'entrepreneurial, growth mindset'.
