3PL 2IC/Team Leader – Erskine Park

A great opportunity exists to join our Erskine Park warehouse "2IC team".

Working closely with the Warehouse Manager & fellow customer silo 2IC team leaders to oversee & drive daily operations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

You'll be part of our close-knit Sydney team involved in all aspects of warehouse activity, taking ownership of key tasks and ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient outcomes across our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

·Work alongside the Warehouse Manager to coordinate daily operations and drive warehouse performance

·You will be responsible for a core group of customers within the warehouse.

·Oversee the team's daily receipt, pick, pack, dispatch & inventory functions.

·Work closely with the management & team leaders to roster & resource as required

·Driving a strong safety culture & ensure safe work practices.

·Ensure team members follow our rigid process of 100% RF operated transaction

·Become a WMS (INFOR) "Super User" & provide adequate advice & training to staff & clients

·Assist team members to ensure required tasks are completed on time & accurately (hands on)

·Operate high-reach forklifts (double deep experience highly regarded)

·Maintain stock accuracy and handle client-specific requirements

·Communicate via email and warehouse systems

·Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment

You will have:

·3-5 years 3PL experience

·Preferably 1-2 years in a senior operators/team lead role

·Current forklift licence with high-reach forklift would be a strong advantage

·Experience using RF scanners & WMS operating systems (Experience with INFOR WMS an advantage)

·Proven ability to "drive a result" & continually improve process efficiencies

·Solid computer literacy (written, email and warehouse systems)

·Lead with a reliable, proactive, and self-motivated attitude

·Ability to work independently, taking initiative while keeping management & colleagues informed
