About the Role

IRT Moruya, in the far south coast of NSW, is seeking a Physiotherapy Aide passionate about enhancing clients' physical mobility and quality of life. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will deliver physiotherapy programs tailored to residents' needs, follow individual routines, report changes, and support physiotherapy provision. This is a part-time role, 8 hours per week, working Mondays and Thursdays, 4 hours each day.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physiotherapy programs in group settings or one-on-one as directed by a physiotherapist.
  • Assist and motivate residents to maintain independence.
  • Prepare treatment areas, set up equipment, and complete documentation daily.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing resident care plans.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience in designing and developing physiotherapy programs (desirable).
  • Knowledge of transfers, mobility, pain management, equipment use, and biomechanics.
  • Ability to prioritize work and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
