Job Title

Seeking a highly skilled and compassionate paediatric physiotherapist to work with children with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, or developmental delays.

The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement play-based therapy techniques, and provide family-centered care. They will also recommend and fit mobility aids, orthotics, and assistive devices to support independence.

In addition, the successful candidate will advocate for inclusion and participation in schools, sports, and community programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate medical history and movement abilities of new patients
  • Develop treatment plans based on medical diagnoses
  • Provide massage therapy, mobilize and manipulate muscles and joints, and use physiotherapy equipment
  • Teach exercises to strengthen motor abilities and correct posture/movements
  • Update patient records and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Qualifications in paediatric physiotherapy or a related field
  • Experience working with children with physical disabilities or neurological conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
