What this job involves:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to provide high quality to support to the Property Managers across the portfolio. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our property portfolio while developing valuable skills in commercial property management.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of budgets, outgoings recoveries and forecasts;
  • Assist with monthly report preparation;
  • Process accounts payable invoices;
  • Monitor and actively pursue tenant rental arrears;
  • Review and manage the tenancy schedule for each property;
  • Assist in completing rent reviews and other critical items in leases;
  • Attend tenant meetings with the Property Manager;
  • Issue purchase orders and setup contracts in JLL Systems;
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors and owners as required;
  • General administration, filing and assistance as required;
  • Ensure all sundry charges and direct recoveries are raised in a timely manner;
  • Any other tasks requested to be completed by the Property Manager.

You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated property professional, and hold a strong attention to detail. You also have knowledge of the commercial market with good financial acumen and exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.

Qld Real Estate Salesperson Certificate required

  • Understand of MRI or other similar Property Management system is desirable
  • Strong Word and Excel skills
  • Good Communication – Written and Verbal
  • Has a reputation for providing friendly, timely and effective service towards clients, tenants, and contractors
