What this job involves:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to provide high-quality support to the Property Managers across our portfolio. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our property portfolio while developing valuable skills in commercial property management.

Duties & responsibilities:

1. Assist with preparation of budgets, outgoings recoveries, and forecasts;
2. Assist with monthly report preparation;
3. Process accounts payable invoices;
4. Monitor and actively pursue tenant rental arrears;
5. Review and manage the tenancy schedule for each property;
6. Assist in completing rent reviews and other critical items in leases;
7. Attend tenant meetings with the Property Manager;
8. Issue purchase orders and set up contracts in JLL Systems;
9. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and owners as required;
10. General administration, filing, and assistance as required;
11. Ensure all sundry charges and direct recoveries are raised in a timely manner;
12. Perform any other tasks requested by the Property Manager.

You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated property professional with a strong attention to detail. You should have knowledge of the commercial market, good financial acumen, and exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.

Requirements:

• Qld Real Estate Salesperson Certificate
• Understanding of MRI or similar Property Management system (desirable)
• Strong Word and Excel skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reputation for friendly, timely, and effective service towards clients, tenants, and contractors
