Business Services Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Business Services Manager to join our firm. We are seeking an individual who is proactive and committed to delivering outcomes for both our Clients and Directors. The right candidate will be managing a portfolio of clients and staff in addition to mentoring and managing workflows and ensuring the quality control standards are adhered to. • Managing staff including workflow, monitoring KPI's and reviewing of work
• Overseeing firm quality control processes
• Preparation and/or Review of Financial Reports for all entity types
• Preparation and/or Review of Income Tax Returns for all entity types
• Preparation of other statutory compliance-related documents for clients as required
• Liaising with the statutory bodies on behalf of clients
• Client accounting software assistance and advice
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports and advice for clients
• Attend to tax and accounting planning and forecasting for clients
• Other duties as assigned and required

The candidate must have strong business development and technical skills with demonstrable knowledge in providing general and specific accounting, taxation, and business advice.

You will thrive on building deep and trusting relationships and will be able to monitor and meet client-imposed deadlines. You will identify and pursue opportunities to bring additional value to clients through new business consulting service offerings and you will lead the professional development of the team through formal and informal coaching, internal training and day-to-day guidance. Possessing strong leadership and time management skills are essential.

We are looking for someone that will be progressive with us as AI & technology evolves, and will encourage and utilise these efficiencies and automations.

• 10 years of Australian Business Services experience within a practice environment
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Standards and Australian Income Tax legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
