Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of treatments and quality assurance\
  • Selecting cows for artificial insemination and assisting with semen selection\
  • Operating milking plant and equipment\
  • Assisting with machine repair and fertiliser mix design\
  • Reading and recording instrument information\
  • Undertaking multiple functions to produce a quality outcome\
  • Utilizing computerized systems to manage farm operations\
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve agreed budgeted and physical performance targets\
  • Contributing to the development of a broad and coherent body of knowledge of milk source and composition\
  • Staying up-to-date with safety and quality factors that determine dairy product acceptability by consumers\
  • Communicating effectively as part of a team\
  • Providing exceptional customer service

  • Relevant work experience in a similar role\
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field (or equivalent)\

  • AQF Certificate II or III in agriculture (or equivalent)\
  • Ability to communicate effectively as part of a team\
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills\
