Accounting Manager - HNW Wealth Management

Taurus is working with one of the world's premiere alternative asset managers. Our client manages over $75B in AUM and is adding to their accounting team in their Charlotte office. Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily accounting activity for investments and oversee expenses
  • Prepare portfolio forecasts, variance analyses and maintain the portfolio data
  • Work closely alongside the Valuation Committee for monthly valuation prep and materials. This requires work with the deal team and general partners to gather all pertinent information
  • Review the monthly NAV to ensure it has all supporting workpapers and information
  • Assist with oversight of the annual audit process and work closely with fund administrators
  • Oversee the transaction closing process, and review deliverables reporting and allocations
  • Handle the daily cash flow activity
  • Mentor junior fund accounting team members
  • Prepare internal dashboards and investor reporting
  • Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years in pubic audit for financial services clients, and/or private accounting experience
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Experience managing staff preferred
