Taurus is working with one of the world's premiere alternative asset managers. Our client manages over $75B in AUM and is adding to their accounting team in their Charlotte office. Responsibilities- Manage the daily accounting activity for investments and oversee expenses
- Prepare portfolio forecasts, variance analyses and maintain the portfolio data
- Work closely alongside the Valuation Committee for monthly valuation prep and materials. This requires work with the deal team and general partners to gather all pertinent information
- Review the monthly NAV to ensure it has all supporting workpapers and information
- Assist with oversight of the annual audit process and work closely with fund administrators
- Oversee the transaction closing process, and review deliverables reporting and allocations
- Handle the daily cash flow activity
- Mentor junior fund accounting team members
- Prepare internal dashboards and investor reporting
- Ad hoc projects
- 5-8 years in pubic audit for financial services clients, and/or private accounting experience
- CPA highly preferred
- Experience managing staff preferred
