About the role

Reporting to the Preadmissions Manager, the Admissions Assistant plays a key role in supporting the efficient and accurate processing of patient admissions prior to their scheduled procedures. Working within the Preadmissions Department, this role ensures that all administrative requirements are completed to a high standard of preadmission practice, ensuring accuracy, integrity and privacy of patient information, and delivering the service in a timely, professional, and patient-focused manner, contributing to a smooth hospital experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual appropriately experienced in Health administration, and proficient in PiMS, to join our high-performing team across both our Toorak Gardens and Stepney locations. This role is offered on a part-time temporary contract, 6 months initially with potential for extension, 0.6 FTE.
