About us

Care Systems is an Australian-owned software development company dedicated to supporting providers in the Aged Care, Home Care, Community Support and Disability sectors. For more than 40 years, we have partnered with organisations to deliver technology that simplifies complexity, ensures compliance, and enables staff to focus on delivering quality care. Our team is based across the country, with a culture that is collaborative, inclusive, and people-first.

About the role

As an experienced Implementation Specialist, you will lead the onboarding and implementation of Care Systems' entire product suite with new and existing clients. This role requires strong project management skills, including developing detailed project management plans, managing timelines, and overseeing scope changes and project variations.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation projects across Care Systems' full product suite.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project management documentation and manage scope changes and project variations.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to capture client requirements, processes, and success measures, and define measurable success criteria for each project.
  • Partner across the business to deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the project.
  • Monitor project budgets working with Finance to track project costs and collaborate closely across other teams to ensure alignment between client needs and product capabilities.
  • Utilise Care Systems' project management and CRM tools to track progress, maintain visibility, and ensure accurate reporting.
About You

You have proven experience in implementing software systems in the Aged Care, Home Care, Community, or Disability sector, with a strong understanding of operational and compliance requirements. You have demonstrated experience and success in end-to-end project implementation — including discovery, configuration, training, go-live, and post-implementation support. With a strong knowledge of software systems and cloud-based applications, you can configure and troubleshoot solutions. You thrive in an environment that is based on strong teamwork skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • A minimum 3–4 years' experience in software implementation, project delivery, or consulting within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including project, and client management tools (e.g. Jira, Monday.com, HubSpot) and experience working with financial modules or software would be highly regarded.
  • Strong ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A current Australian Driver Licence.
What we offer

As well as a competitive salary, you will be challenged and encouraged to innovate. You will collaborate with colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. As we are a small organisation you will benefit from:

  • Leading Employee Assistance Program with a focus on your health and wellbeing.
  • Having direct access to everyone across the organisation including the key decision-makers.
  • True flexibility – we recognise everyone has different needs both at work and at home and encourage our co-workers to work in a way that produces the best outcomes for their families as well as the business. Work from home or, if in Brisbane, you are welcome to work in our office.
  • Real opportunities to make an impact. Everyone's ideas and contributions are valued and encouraged.
  • All hands on-deck – this leads to self-discovery and innovation. We value everyone's input and ideas. You will be encouraged to work with your strengths and uncover hidden talents.
  • Less red tape and bureaucracy and more conversations.
  • You get to learn different aspects of the business – you might be in one team, but you will have the opportunity to work across the entire business. You will enjoy a dynamic environment, where you are encouraged to learn, experiment and try new things.
  • Genuine support for your personal wellbeing and professional development.
  • A culture that is collaborative and inclusive.
