The RoleWe are looking to add an experienced full-time Healthcare Implementation Specialist to join our amazing team and further our efforts in partnering with organizations in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences segment.
This role is open to candidates in Australia.
Objectives of the Role- Document data mapping requirements, workflow triggers, and integration specifications for healthcare systems, working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange using healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Validate integration requirements with clients and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards
- Work directly with customers to understand their operational needs and challenges
- Conduct solution demonstrations and training sessions for client teams
- Provide consultative guidance on best practices and process improvements
- Support troubleshooting and problem resolution during implementation phases
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth client relationships and successful project outcomes
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, pharma, consulting, or related technical role
- Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Experience with healthcare information systems and implementation projects
- Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7, FHIR preferred
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and system configuration
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Experience with healthcare IT systems and database management
- Understanding of system integrations and API concepts
- Proven project management experience with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation and requirements specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- RESTful API experience and web services integration
- Experience with healthcare interoperability platforms
- Understanding of cloud-based healthcare solutions
- Familiarity with modern software development practice
- Experience with InterSystems technologies (IRIS, HealthShare, Caché)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (FDA, HIPAA, GxP)
- Healthcare consulting or implementation services background
