Overview

Join to apply for the Program Manager - Sustainability R&D role at Meat & Livestock Australia.

The Program Manager – Sustainability R&D will develop strategy for, and deliver research, development and adoption activities nationally for the sheep and beef industries. This will involve close consultation with livestock producers, research providers and the innovation landscape to position the Australian industry as a world leader in this space.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Australian red meat industry Sustainability R&D team and deliver national R&D strategy for the sheep and beef industries.
  • Engage with livestock producers, research providers and the innovation landscape to advance research, development and adoption activities.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience (>10 years) in R&D program management involving beef cattle and sheep in feedlot and/or grazing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, business case development and opportunity assessment.
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated achievement in delivering outcomes that benefit the sustainability and profitability of the industry.
