Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Content Marketing Assistant to join our Ray White Economics team. As a Content Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating, managing, and distributing engaging content across multiple channels to support our economic commentary across residential, commercial, and rural property divisions. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about digital marketing and visual storytelling. Working closely with the Content Strategy lead, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content, managing social media platforms, coordinating marketing materials, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in design and short-form social video filming/editing. This role offers excellent growth opportunities within a family-owned business that has been a trusted name in the property industry for over 120 years, contributing to the continued success of one of the region\'s most established real estate networks.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Content Creation & Production: Creating visual content (graphics, social media posts, basic designs); Video editing and photo editing; Formatting and laying out documents, reports, and presentations; Preparing slide decks and marketing materials; Writing or editing copy for various channels; Building photo library to streamline the process of content creation.
  • Publishing & Distribution: Uploading content to websites and content management systems; Scheduling and posting on social media platforms; Managing email newsletter compilation and distribution; Coordinating content across multiple channels; Ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
  • Production Support: Supporting content lead with project execution; Managing content calendars and production timelines; Organising and maintaining content libraries and assets; Quality checking content before publication; Tracking content performance and compiling reports.
  • Administrative & Coordination: Project management for content initiatives; Coordinating with other departments for content needs; Managing vendor relationships (photographers, designers, etc.); Maintaining production workflows and processes.
What We\'re Looking For
  • Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing (entry-level candidates with strong portfolios considered)
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred)
  • Experience with video editing software (Final Cut, CapCut or similar)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative content creation and design capabilities
  • Creative mindset with ability to generate engaging visual content
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively with multiple departments
  • Proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of brand consistency and marketing principles
  • Tech-savvy with eagerness to learn new digital tools and platforms
