Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recycling Operator for a permanent full-time role at our Beresfield NSW depot. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about sustainability and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Details
  • Permanent full-time position, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with potential for overtime and weekends during peak season.
  • Beresfield NSW
  • $32.79 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Manage shed operations during morning shifts, ensuring trucks comply with the Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
  • Operate telehandler to push, crush, and load loose materials into trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Perform basic telehandler maintenance, including washing, greasing, and refueling.
  • Conduct general yard and shed maintenance to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist in supervising contractors on-site during their work activities.
  • Support Pantech loading and bin disposal operations as required.
  • Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment checks along with any other necessary paperwork.
About You
  • Experience in the waste or other relevant industry is ideal
  • Forklift licence or loader would be an advantage
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
