About The Role

Daikin Australia is offering an opportunity to join our Commercial Sales team in Melbourne, Scoresby VIC, as a Technical Sales Support Officer. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial VIC, you will assist Account Managers and the Sales Manager with product selection, estimating and arranging product tenders, packaging product solutions, following up quotations, and handling customer enquiries related to product.

Responsibilities
  • Review project and product specifications, select product, provide quotes within relevant time frames and other project parameters.
  • Prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or external customers.
  • Provide product information (data, brochures) and guidance on technical queries to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain appropriate customer relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Assist Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers as required.
About You
  • Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent qualification, or HVAC trade qualification, with demonstrated HVAC knowledge; highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
  • High level of organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to learning and personal development.
