About the opportunity

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Client Service Administrator with a strong compliance and administrative background to join their collaborative team. You'll be surrounded by professionals who value teamwork, enjoy what they do, and encourage ongoing learning and development.

In this hands-on role, you'll utilise your technical compliance knowledge, attention to detail, and passion for client service. The position offers variety in day-to-day tasks and the chance to make a real contribution to both the team and the clients. There's also the opportunity to step into a paraplanning pathway if that aligns with your career goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching client data and drafting strategy recommendations

  • Preparing and processing documentation for client reviews, strategic advice, investments, and insurance applications completing SOA & ROA administration

  • Implementing advice recommendations under the guidance of the Financial Planner

  • Managing client review processes, coordinating meetings, and overseeing workflow

  • Preparing and delivering ongoing service agreements

  • Liaising with clients, superannuation funds, and product providers

  • Entering client data into XPLAN for advice preparation

  • Maintaining accurate, compliant client records

About you

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a background in financial planning administration. You have a passion for delivering exceptional client support, a strong compliance focus, thrive in a professional environment, and value process and precision.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a client service admin position

  • Strong compliance focus and attention to detail

  • Analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with XPLAN desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organised with effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Interest in ongoing professional development

  • Passion for client service and delivering high-quality advice

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Financial Services, or a related discipline

  • Currently undertaking or considering undertaking an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, or Certificate IV in Financial Services, or similar.
