About the role

As we continue to expand and grow our Motors Sales team, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (VIC). You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth within the Victorian and Tasmanian region. You will work closely with other regional managers and the executive team to ensure alignment with the company''s goals and objectives. Reporting to our Head of Motors and managing a team of 3, the Regional Sales Manager will develop and implement sales plans to maximise revenue growth and market penetration, ensuring alignment with Autotrader''s overall business objectives.

What you''ll do
  • Empower and educate Autotrader Group car dealers by understanding their business needs and delivering a sustainable return on investment, ultimately creating Autotrader Group advocates
  • Elevate the Autotrader Group brand in market by identifying new sales opportunities, growing existing accounts while providing superior service, proactive education, and insight to our Autotrader Group partners
  • Provide extraordinary customer service to all of our dealers while also developing long-lasting partnerships
  • Sales leadership and management of relevant regional market for the Autotrader Group, providing in-market support, ownership of accounts, planning and goal setting to achieve Regional service levels and budgeted revenue targets
  • Generate sales solutions focusing on assigned territory verticals and/or portfolios
  • Lead a mature, high-performing sales team - provide and support, while helping and facilitating their career growth
What you''ll bring
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales or a similar role
  • A passion for digital and deep knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Proven excellence and experience in customer service and sales, while meeting and often exceeding sales targets
  • Experience leading high-performing, mature sales teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, you don''t stay in the shadows. You can visualise, shape and communicate in a way that gets buy-in
  • Natural problem solver - taking a structured approach to collecting facts, logically determining the root cause, and identifying the simplest solution
  • The ability to use data to drive decisions and outcomes to provide the best insights to our customers and clients
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • An entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
