About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Little Genius Academy as the Nominated Supervisor for our Concord-based childcare centre. As the Nominated Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the centre's operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive. This is a full-time position based in Concord, NSW 2137.

What you\'ll be doing

• Overseeing the daily operations of the childcare centre, including managing staff, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining high standards of care
• Ensuring the centre complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality assurance standards
• Developing and implementing educational programs that promote the holistic development of children
• Fostering strong relationships with families, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the childcare team
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre\'s operations and services

What we\'re looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year\'s experience as a Nominated Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the childcare sector
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of childcare professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and all relevant childcare regulations and legislation
• Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care and education
• Proven track record of implementing innovative educational programs and initiatives
• Australian work rights are required for this position
• Valid Working with Children Check is required before commencement
