Title: ACCOUNT MANAGER
Reports into: Snr Account Director
Location: SYDNEY or Melbourne
Client: Bank of Queensland
Role Overview: 3+ years of Account Management experience working on a national account, with a deep understanding of agency and client principles and practices. Under the supervision of the Snr Acct Director, responsible for taking client briefs, assisting in producing strategic recommendations, writing creative briefs with Planning, briefing creative teams, reviewing work, presenting to clients, and managing production of various materials.
Client Responsibilities:
- Gains trust and respect of client counterparts, becoming someone they rely on and whose opinion is valued.
- Leads and/or attends client meetings, issuing contact reports within 24 hours.
- Contributes to strategy development, understanding the client's business, gathering data, and providing insights.
- Supports creative development, evaluates creative work, and supports the team to sell and approve work.
- Disseminates information to team members, including schedules, costs, and market insights.
Agency Responsibilities:
- Manages production aspects including timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Organizes meetings and presentations, tracks approvals, maintains files, and shares information.
- Leads WIP meetings, maintains project status, and assesses competitive information.
- Manages billing processes and understands Quality Management Operating Procedures.
- Supports the agency's values: "Nothing Is Impossible" and the Saatchi & Saatchi ideals.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills and active listening.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Quick learner, inquisitive, and interested in advertising and communications.
- Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
