Forest is our restaurant overlooking a lush, tropical rainforest. The menu features over 80% of ingredients sourced within a three-hour drive. We believe food is best enjoyed slowly and shared, with locally sourced wines or vibrant cocktails.

THE ROLE:

With a passion for local produce and flair for creating extraordinary dishes, you will:

  • Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service and food experiences
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity
  • Provide hands-on support to junior kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with the F&B Service team and all hotel departments
  • Promote and ensure WH&S compliance in the kitchen
  • Contribute to seasonal and promotional menu creation
  • Support procurement, preparation, and presentation of food

ABOUT YOU:

You will be enthusiastic with technical experience in a high-functioning kitchen and hold a relevant trade qualification. You should:

  • Have technical talent and experience with modern cuisine
  • Have demonstrated experience in a contemporary dining setting
  • Possess sound knowledge of WH&S legislation and health regulations
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Be detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Be able to work across a 7-day roster
  • Have ambitions for personal and professional growth
