McIlwain is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to assist our current project commercial team in managing variations, procurement submissions, and assisting in the financial and accounting records.
The project is located within the Scenic Rim region and is part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area. Due to the location, McIlwain offers housing for those who prefer to stay locally during the week as the works are run from Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and deadlines and keep up to date with changes and modifications.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Follow-up outstanding paperwork and drive the team to comply and meet financial reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and coordinate insurance claims when required.
- Track costs to provide accrual information to the Project Manager for financial reporting purposes.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator
- Degree in Business Management, Law or related disciplines preferred
- Demonstrated experience in contracts, project costing, and accounting
- Previous experience in a civil engineering company highly regarded
