Territory Manager - Neurovascular & Peripheral Vascular

As a Territory Manager, you will play an integral role in growing Penumbra's Neuro & Peripheral Vascular Solutions in Victoria and Tasmania by increasing sales and customer satisfaction within Australia and the APAC region. You will collaborate daily with the Country Manager and Regional Sales Manager to ensure superior customer service and optimal product use. You will also strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

What You'll Work On

  • Develop relationships with hospitals, labs, and customers.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with prospective customers and users of Penumbra products, converting them into Penumbra customers.
  • Secure and renew existing orders by coordinating product availability, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain open communication with current and prospective customers regarding programs, promotions, and pricing trends.
  • Increase account penetration with orders for new and existing products and services.
  • Build relationships with physicians, lab staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel.
  • Travel as necessary for position support, including outside the region when required.
  • Complete special projects or assignments as requested.
  • Stay updated on Penumbra's new products or services and provide market feedback to the corporate office.
  • Monitor competitive product innovations, sales promotions, and advertising for personal and corporate market intelligence.
  • Attend industry trade shows, follow up on leads, and report to sales and marketing management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field reports.

What You Contribute

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, or related field with 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in medical device sales, or equivalent.
  • Creativity and passion for innovation.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Working Conditions

  • General office environment with potential travel.
  • Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials.
  • Ability to wear lead protective gear for extended periods.
  • Occasional on-call availability, 24/7.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and using a computer.
  • Vision abilities required include reading, close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
