Patterson Cheney seeks a General Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales team and drive success across our brands, including Patterson Cheney Isuzu UTE, Dandenong JAC and Mahindra. If you are a passionate automotive Sales leader ready to make a significant impact with some of our exciting up-and-coming brands, we want to hear from you.

About the Role :

  • Lead a small, close-knit team focused on new vehicle sales across Isuzu UTE, JAC Motors, and Mahindra.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, ensuring their success through guidance and support.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, including inventory management and after-sales support.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and implement necessary improvements to optimise team performance.
  • Present sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.

About You :

Proven experience as a sales leader or a Sales Manager seeking a new challenge.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.Results-oriented mindset with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Familiarity with the local market and customer preferences is a plus.
