Hotel Receptionist (Guest Service Agent) - Gladstone

We are seeking Guest Service Agent to join our team at Gladstone Central Plaza Hotel. Experience in this position will be highly regarded. Full training will be provided for those wishing to enter the industry providing the right attitude is demonstrated.

About us

Central Apartment Group operates a national chain of apartments hotels. With our head office located in Brisbane, we specialise in the management and operation of Apartment hotels across Australia. Our philosophy is to create a "home away from home" environment allowing our customers to stretch-out, work and relax in affordable comfort.

You must have a genuine passion for hospitality, a calmness while working under pressure with a keen eye for detail in facility, service, and product delivery. You will understand that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.

Attributes
  • A genuine friendly approach to others
  • Hotel Front office experience favourably considered
  • Demonstrable ability to assist in the reservation process from phone call to check-in and follow through to check-out
  • Knowledge of RMS, or similar system is a definite advantage but not essential
  • Good knowledge of hotels or the serviced apartment industry and procedures is desirable
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster including evenings and possibly weekends
  • Professional telephone manner and communication skills
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel is preferred
  • Patience and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • An eye for detail, professional personal presentation and good organisational skills
  • Previous Experience is a definite bonus
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with a 'can do attitude'
