Resthaven has recently commenced a Relief Staffing Pool to assist and support unplanned staff leave across 12 Residential Aged Care homes.

Permanent Part-time Work hours:

  • 15:00 to 23:00 - Fridays
  • 05:00 to 09:00 - Mondays and Fridays

About the Role:

  • Coordinate scheduling and allocation of relief staff to aged care facilities
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of relief staff
  • Optimize relief pool staff to ensure cost-effective rosters
  • Communicate roster updates, shift assignments, and relevant information to staff and managers
  • Contribute to designing and implementing flexible rostering practices
  • Cover shifts when other staff are on leave, as responsible

Essential Criteria:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
  • Strong computer skills and systems orientation
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to undertake diverse tasks
  • Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday
