Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join the team at Emerald Place Clinic in Charlwood, Horley. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to young people with a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, psychosis, neurodevelopmental disorders, and eating disorders.

What you will be doing

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure young people in this 12-bed CAMHS service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

Your day-to-day duties will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, observing, recording and reporting changes in service users, and maintaining accurate records of the care provided.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
  • Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
  • Providing mentorship and support to team members

Skills and knowledge
  • A relevant nursing qualification

Where you will be working

Location: Emerald Place Clinic, Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Horley, RH6 0BN

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for young people aged 13 to 18 with mental health diagnoses and complex needs, including mood disorders, acute psychosis, neurodevelopmental disorders (including mild learning disabilities or autism), and disordered eating.
