About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and care for patients with a variety of conditions. The role supports the overall function of the unit through role modelling and applying principles of evidence-based, patient-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management. Additionally, it offers support and guidance to Registered Nurses and other non-registered nursing staff in complex situations.
About you

- Meet the responsibilities outlined in Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1, and align with Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values to achieve organizational goals and practice domains.
- Practice ethically and professionally, adhering to relevant standards and legislation, maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of practice.
- Apply advanced clinical nursing skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
