your responsibilities will include :

  • Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards
  • Support and liaise with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and Departments
  • Assist with coordination of staffing
  • Manage patient flow, coordinate and plan operational processes
  • Coordinate patient admissions and provide discharge planning support
  • Support the hospital's commitment to quality improvement, National Safety and maintain the safety of staff, patients and visitors

Essential Criteria :

Minimum 5 years working as a Registered NurseCurrent unrestricted AHPRA registrationAbility to manage competing demands and co-ordinate resources appropriatelyAdvanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsEffective analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Criteria

Recent experience in bed management and / or patient flowDemonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staffHigh degree of computer literacy including MS OfficeExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members#J-18808-Ljbffr
