We are looking for a driven and proactive individual to lead three transformative projects within ESNEFT: Tendring 100 Project, Colchester Apprenticeships Project, and the King's Trust Initiative. This fixed-term role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful change alongside senior leaders.

Key Projects
  • Tendring 100 Project: A partnership-led initiative (launched in late 2024) with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with Colchester Institute, Career Track, Tendring District Council, Essex County Council, and Healthwatch Essex. Our ambition is to create 100 new apprenticeship opportunities across the Tendring District Council area.
  • Colchester Apprenticeships Project: Locally delivered initiative supported by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund. Ambition to create 25 new apprenticeship opportunities, targeting local residents and driving economic growth and health equity.
  • Kingst Trust Initiative: Employment project to support pathways for young people and others facing barriers to employment.
Main Duties
  • Provide consistent, high-level project management and administrative support.
  • Manage projects and be responsible for a defined area of work.
  • Plan, prioritise, and organise own time and coordinate that of the team and external partners as appropriate.
  • Provide leadership to encourage high performance within the team and with external partners to maintain project efficiency.
  • Train and provide support/line management to enable others to deliver against project objectives.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience to degree level

Experience

  • Previous project management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate with diverse audiences
  • Experience handling non-routine administrative matters
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and written skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience in the Apprenticeship sector
  • Experience of working with members of the public
  • Supervision/coordination of other team members
Knowledge and Skills
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
  • Project management and knowledge of employability/training programmes
  • Knowledge of relevant work area and specialist terminology
  • Data management and reporting methodologies
  • Microsoft Word/Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to meet service demands
