Job Description

Oaks Mackay Rivermarqe Hotel is looking for a casual Guest Service Agent passionate about providing excellent customer service. You will make guests feel at home with your welcoming presence, guiding them through check-ins, check-outs, and sharing insights on local attractions and eateries. Your superb customer service and positive energy will leave a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide a warm and friendly reception upon guest arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process and addressing immediate inquiries.
  • Maintain clear and courteous communication across in-person, phone, and email channels to deliver exceptional service.
  • Accurately process reservations, updates, and special requests using property management systems for seamless scheduling.
  • Act as the primary contact during guests' stay, offering assistance, resolving issues, and providing personalized recommendations.

Hourly rates (excluding super):

  • Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
  • Saturday: $38.78 per hour
  • Sunday: $45.25 per hour

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering high-quality service in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication skills across various mediums.
  • Proactive, positive approach to guest needs, exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to foster positive guest experiences and resolve issues effectively.
  • Professional appearance reflecting organisational standards.
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts.
