About the Opportunity

We are seeking an oil and gas industry professional who has a comprehensive understanding of onshore fabrication, transportation, and offshore installation methods and design. This includes lift rigging, handling aids, and production of lift sequence workpacks. You will also be experienced in the coordination of production deliverables including calculations, specifications, procedures, and managing third party submissions and inspections.

You will have a strong background in the management of offshore engineering design and installation projects, in particular experience with installation of offshore and subsea infrastructure.

About You

To thrive in this position, you will have these essential attributes:

  • Tertiary engineering degree in naval architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, mechatronic disciplines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of design, including lift rigging, handling aids, production of lift sequence work packs, onshore fabrication, transportation, and installation methods.
  • Offshore experience in planning, managing, and executing construction and installation phases of a project.
  • Achievements in the delivery of complex, difficult packages of work and experienced in sub-contractor management for offshore installation scopes.
  • You are an innovative, strategic operator and problem solver.
  • You have a keen eye in identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Experience in effective project monitoring and auditing, ensuring successful delivery.
  • You are a collaborative team member, regardless of level of the organisation.
  • You are results focused, proactive in your approach.
  • You plan, you are measured in the execution of your work, but you are flexible and agile at the same time.
  • You are engaging, with a natural ability to influence, and people just like working with you
