Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Backfill Engineer at Quattro. The Senior Backfill Engineer will be responsible for designing and managing backfill systems, conducting detailed engineering studies, and overseeing the implementation of backfill projects. The position requires on-site presence and is located in Perth, WA. Daily tasks include project management, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing backfill processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and managing backfill systems
  • Project management skills, including coordinating with stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize backfill processes
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in the resources or mining industry is preferred
  • Proficiency with engineering software and tools related to backfill design and management
