Randstad Defence is currently partnering with ASC, Australia's Submarine Company and are seeking senior level experienced engineering professionals for a major defence maritime project as part of the AUKUS program.These engineers will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including end-users and subject matter experts to understand operational requirements and develop a set of infrastructure functional requirements to support the design of the Submarine Construction Yard at Osborne, SA.The role will undertake design and construction assurance to verify the Infrastructure Functional Requirements have translated into the design, construction and commissioning of the facility.This opportunity is based in Adelaide, so if you are ready to relocate to South Australia and secure your long term career this is a great opportunity to be part of a project that is key to the future of Australia's continuous naval capability for our nation.As Senior Engineer/Specialist You WillWork in a complex environment with multiple internal/external stakeholders Work within constraints related to cost, schedule and capability Be required to develop the IFR including: Technical drawings Written requirements Technical data across a variety of disciplines (civil,structural,architectural and industrial services)Undertake documentation and configuration management of the IFR including design reviews and assurance and reporting against compliance of delivery Manage a team of around 10 engineering professionals Have experience in Services engineering with broad experience across all disciplines including industrial services distribution and a strong focus on ICT and Defence SecurityAbout YouMust be an Australian citizen to be able to hold and maintain and Australian NV1 Security Clearance Tertiary qualification in engineering or related technical discipline Significant experience delivering technical projects in industrial, manufacturing or construction industries Experience in project managing infrastructure design and construction works Proven experience working with WHS&E legislation, regulations, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice Experience with Defence Industry manuals and guidelines will be highly regardedOn Offer To YouFlexibility over how, when and where you work for the best work/life balance.
