About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced engineering professional to lead the delivery of strategic maintenance management programs across a diverse infrastructure portfolio. This senior position plays a key role in improving asset performance, embedding robust systems, and enabling data-driven decision-making to optimise long-term community outcomes.
In this role, you will shape tactical maintenance programs, enhance asset management capability, and support best-practice approaches to planning, renewal, and risk management. You will work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure maintenance strategies are aligned with organisational objectives, maximising asset life and service levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving continuous improvement in asset management frameworks and maintenance strategies.
- Leading programs relating to asset renewal, condition assessments, criticality analysis, defect elimination, work management, and planned outages.
- Providing tactical asset management support to stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Leveraging data, systems, and risk analysis to improve planning, efficiency, and resource utilisation.
Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
- Significant experience in maintenance management within a medium to large, multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 55000 standards and asset management best practice.
- Proven ability to translate technical asset performance data into actionable strategies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and achieve collaborative outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in maintenance management programs, data analytics, and asset management systems.
