Orion Aerospace is actively looking to recruit a highly skilled AME or LAME with extensive R22 and R44 Robinson Helicopter knowledge and experience in the Caboolture region, QLD. This is a contract role, with job duties including aiding in the rebuild of R22 and R44 Robinson helicopters as well as assisting in the servicing of other turbine and piston-powered helicopters.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform maintenance, inspection, technical, or support duties in line with aviation standards.
  2. Plan and execute tasks safely and efficiently under company and client procedures.
  3. Interpret and work from technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work completed.
  5. Support engineering, logistics, and operational teams as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Aero skills or Equivalent Trade Qualification required
  • R22/R44 Experience required
  • CASA License preferred but not necessary
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Effective communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well with others and follow directions in fast-paced environments.
  • Positive attitude and understanding of workplace professionalism.
