These concepts bring something unique to market: Bottle Stop offers broad choice and convenience, while Barrel & Batch is a premium destination for curated wines, exclusive whiskies, craft beer, and super-premium spirits.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic CRM Manager to take ownership of our customer relationship strategy across a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands. This is a senior role for a proven leader with deep Salesforce expertise, capable of driving customer engagement, loyalty, and commercial growth through sophisticated CRM initiatives.
As CRM Manager, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and optimisation of our CRM and loyalty programs, ensuring data-driven insights translate into measurable business outcomes. You will also act as the business owner of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, overseeing their implementation, governance, and performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic vision with operational excellence. The successful candidate will be a thought leader in marketing automation, data architecture, and omnichannel customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of CRM strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and incremental sales across all channels.
- Design personalised customer journeys and sophisticated lifecycle campaigns.
- Grow customer database quality and depth, enabling advanced segmentation and supplier retail media opportunities.
- Oversee creative briefs and execution, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Loyalty & Customer Lifecycle
- Lead the integration of CRM with loyalty programs, owning the design and delivery of engagement and retention initiatives.
- Partner with Loyalty, Marketing, and Data teams to build segmented reward journeys tailored to customer value and lifecycle stage.
- Drive measurable ROI from loyalty participation through ongoing optimisation.
Platform Ownership & Technical Leadership
- Act as business owner for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, ensuring optimal configuration, governance, and performance.
- Collaborate with internal tech/data teams, Salesforce support, and external partners to maintain platform excellence.
- Champion compliance, best practices, and continuous improvement in marketing automation.
Reporting & Insights
- Define and track CRM performance metrics (engagement, conversion, retention, revenue contribution).
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support supplier reporting requirements with robust data outputs and performance analysis.
- Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Data leaders to align CRM initiatives with broader commercial objectives.
- Ensure CRM activity is fully integrated into campaign planning, supplier activations, and lifecycle initiatives.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels, positioning CRM as a central growth driver across the business.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in CRM management, with proven success in delivering commercial outcomes through data-driven marketing.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and strong technical acumen.
- Experience leading CRM initiatives within retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or liquor industries is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of turning insights into strategy and execution.
