Responsibilities
  • Join a team rolling out a new education and training program to support point to point service providers and vehicle operators in providing safe transport for passengers who use wheelchairs.
  • Develop and implement the delivery strategy of this brand-new training program, including establishing panels of training providers and people with lived experience across the state.
  • Your focus will be on program and stakeholder management, and ensuring the program enables drivers and services providers to deliver safe, quality and accessible services.
  • This is a temporary fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2026, with the potential to extend.
About You
  • Your combined program management and education skills, ideally formed in an adult education, transport or disability access sectors, will see you excel in this role.
  • You're recognised as an excellent communicator, skilled at stakeholder engagement and known for your critical thinking and organisational skills.
  • Experience with wheelchair-accessible transport challenges is highly valued.
