Base pay range

A$180,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr

The Client:

Warrell & Reid has been retained by the global leader in mission‑critical communications. A US‑headquartered technology innovator transforming the way governments and emergency services connect, coordinate, and respond.

We're seeking a Strategic Account Manager to spearhead client engagement across Queensland and the Northern Territory, guiding government and public safety agencies through digital transformation journeys that save lives and enhance community resilience.

In this role, you will:

  • Shape strategic outcomes — Engage and influence ministerial and C‑suite stakeholders to modernise mission‑critical communications and associated technologies designed to keep first responders safe and improve community outcomes.
  • Drive digital transformation — Lead customers from legacy platforms toward integrated solutions, including next‑generation radio, cloud‑based command and AI‑powered analytics and more.
  • Navigate complex deals — Manage multi‑year initiatives, tender processes, and navigate complex procurement environments with precision and trust.
  • Collaborate for impact — Work closely with channel sales partners, pre-sales experts, delivery teams, and systems integrators to deliver seamless, high‑stakes projects.

What you bring:

  • Proven track record in strategic sales to public sector, preferably with a focus on emergency services, public safety and critical infrastructure.
  • Expertise in solution selling and building trusted relationships at an executive level.
  • High emotional intelligence, political astuteness, and comfort operating in sensitive, high‑visibility contexts.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, TAS, or equivalent.
  • A commercial mindset with an ability to align business outcomes to public value.
